Produce525KW @ 480 volts electricity and steam from one fuel:

This system is driven by a 1997 Garrett 831-1000 turbine which burns natural gas at a rate of about 70 therms/hour.  The turbine shaft rotates at 41,000 RPM and powers a 525 KW Delco electric generator creating 480V.  The 900F waste heat from the turbine flows through a “waste heat boiler” which captures the heat and yields exhaust at about 450F.   This stack heat could be further utilized with a heat exchanger or “economizer” (not included).  The boiler (ATS, 1989) produces 1600-1800 pounds of steam per hour at 100 PSI.  It has flange mount option for an auxiliary Maxon burner (natural gas, this is included) if more steam is desired.

Two Corken 490 (included) gas compressors receive natural gas from the gas company at 50 PSI and increase the pressure to 190 PSI for the turbine.  The system has an Allen Bradley “Panel Vision” control (See Schematic - .pdf 3.5mb) which monitors the sensors mounted on the turbine and boiler safety devices, and also monitors electricity generated.  The turbine Delco starter is cranked by its own battery start system (six large batteries), the gas compressors start from separate electrical source (diesel generator or Electric Utility).  A Culligan De-ionized water system is included in the package for NOx control.

The burner on the turbine receives a mix of compressed fuel, air (from the plant or ambient) and de-ionized water for NOx control.  The mixture is swirled together through a nozzle and combusted as it moves around through a unique reaction chamber where over 95% of hydrocarbons are destroyed.

This system met California air quality standards and passed numerous permiting tests.  The system provided permits to operate for our manufacturing plant as it controlled hydrocarbon emissions from our production process.
