Robotic Handling Trays

Tempo produces custom material handling trays that can be designed for robotic handling.  High density foam provides exact position indexing for robotic handling.  The trays are tough enough for multiple repeat use.  The smooth surfaces of Tempo DRY molded foam allows no-stick sliding of parts into their respective pockets.

Labor savings, protection from handling damage and part number reduction are advantages of using these trays.  Stack-ability provides optimal use of valuable clean room workspace.

These custom material handling trays can be designed to the exact specifications that are needed for a specific application. Material handling trays and robotic handling trays can be made to clean room specifications. Static build-up can cause difficulty for many industries during the manufacturing process. Material Handling and robotic handling trays are made of static dissipative foam, which does not attract dust.

We specialize in intricate shapes, thin walls, smooth surfaces and close tolerances. Tempo Foam offers static dissipative certification, responsiveness and low cost molds. All material handling trays can be custom-designed to the unique specifications of each application.

Tempo Plastic Co., Inc.
, provides stock and custom protective packaging, particulate free, semi-flexible, long life protection for archival storage, in-house handling, or shipping.   We also provide cleanroom - compatible, durable parts molded from copolymer foams, test reports for liquid particle counts and organic analysis are posted.  We feature thin walls, smooth surfaces, high foam densities.  We specialize in intricate shapes and offer static dissipative certification, responsiveness and low cost molds.

Press-fit rack for spectrophotometry cuvettes. Strips of five break apart for ease of use. Stackable tray for automobile airbag igniters. This replaced chipboard divider tray shown in foreground, reducing set up labor. Delicate D-SUB connector leads are protected from handling damage. Stackable robotic loading tray. Molded from 160 G/L density (10 PCF) Polystyrene, to withstand repeat usage. This is used in clean-room manufacturing, solid material fusion prevents particulate matter.

Static-dissipative, stackable robotic loading try for connectors. Replace this photo with photo of pollmann tray. Stackable tray for manufacturing optical filters. This tray eliminated damage from in-house handling and allowed customer to use vertical space in the clean room. Deep draw tray for long connectors. This replaced extruded tubing. Second and third photos show trays being loaded in robotic work cell.
