Molded volume displacer provides firm grip via “solid interior”, bouyancy and water resistance to keep tools useful. Molded volume displacers force flow along designed vortex surface.  Tempo offers open architecture mold designs for no flash spiral molding technique and press fit alignment. Filter support for a blood cardiotomy reservoir. Completed filter assembly shown on right. Braided mesh over foam volume displacer forces flow into proper channel in this cardiotomy reservoir. This two step molding process allowed thermal economy as the heating and cooling cycles for thick parts are shortened by the use of pre-forms. Insert-molded neck and leg pins and receptacles, allow hunters easy twist-lock connection for separately molded neck and legs. Coffee measuring inserts.  Smaller inserts allow more coffee into given brew basket.  Larger inserts reduce the amount of high value product.  Easy adjustment by adding inserts affects taste of brewed product. Lightweight insulating fluid shim with raised turbulence bosses on each side also allowed exact temperature control of the fluid. Replaced heavy injection molded part.
