Tempo Plastic Co., Inc., provides stock and custom protective packaging, particulate free, semi-flexible, long life protection for archival storage, in-house handling, or shipping.   We also provide cleanroom - compatible, durable parts molded from copolymer foams, test reports for liquid particle counts and organic analysis are posted.  We feature thin walls, smooth surfaces, high foam densities.  We specialize in intricate shapes and offer static dissipative certification, responsiveness and low cost molds.

ETO sterilizable package for blood oxygenator, used in Cardiac surgery. Silhouette of product engraved on package surface seen on left. Lower photo shows molded foam top and bottom caps which replaced charcoal urethane top and blue thermoform bottom pads. Note blue thermoform bending from weight of heat exchanger, this lead to damage to the fitting at bottom, seen with red cap. Filter support for a blood cardiotomy reservoir. Completed filter assembly shown on right. Braided mesh over foam volume displacer forces flow into proper channel in this cardiotomy reservoir. Barney Clark heart transplant success led to numerous surgeries. Tempo assisted by reducing cost and protecting delicate devices during delivery to operating room. Blood oxygenator molded package replaced die-cut urethane end caps shown on right for significant cost reduction. ETO sterilizable high density, smooth surface polystyrene foam provided good drop test protection. Reversible end cap for blood cardiotomy reservoir. One molded part design accommodated both top and bottom features, including clearance for delicate connector ports on top of reservoir. Orthodontic impression tray. Strong, well fused mouth trays, they have to withstand the stress of being pulled from teeth covered in alginate impression material.
